A new film project starting in September 2026 building towards Origins Festival 2027
TV series like Adolescence and films like 1917 have used one continuous shot as the main narrative tool. The technique creates a sense of urgency and intensity that builds over time. Musicians like Radiohead (No Surprises) and Bob Dylan (Subterranean Homesick Blues) also used the one shot device to create an intimate and intense experience. Action sports movies like mtb rider Brandon Semenuk's segment in UnReal use the one shot idea to track the rider from the top to bottom of the mountain.
